Tommaso Bucci
U16 Head Coach
Tommaso Bucci brings a high-performance mindset and a genuine passion for player development to his role at NAHA. A former NCAA Division I student-athlete at Mercyhurst University, he played four years at the collegiate level, in addition to participating in the New York Islanders Rookie Camp (2015) and competing professionally in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL).
Tommaso’s coaching experience includes four seasons at the Division I women’s level, serving as an assistant coach at both Mercyhurst University and Merrimack College. He has also worked on the national stage with USA Hockey, contributing to U15 and U16/17 development camps, where his U15 team earned a camp championship.
With over seven years of experience in youth hockey, Tommaso is committed to helping each athlete reach their full potential in a structured, demanding, and supportive environment. He believes that every player develops differently, and that building strong, trusting relationships is essential to maximizing growth. His approach combines attention to detail, accountability, and a clear focus on daily habits that translate to long-term success—both on and off the ice. He is also dedicated to guiding players and families through the college hockey pathway, helping them understand the recruiting process and prepare for opportunities at the next level.
Guided by his faith, Tommaso leads with integrity, respect, and purpose, striving to create an environment where players feel supported, challenged, and motivated every day. Known for his energy and enthusiasm for the game, he is deeply invested in the process of development and takes pride in helping players and families navigate the path toward their goals.
