Samantha Arsenault Livingstone

Mental Skills Coach

Samantha Arsenault Livingstone is an Olympic gold medalist, high-performance consultant, mental health coach, educator, and transformational speaker who brings both elite athletic experience and a whole-person approach to performance. At just 18 years old, Samantha represented the United States at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, where she won gold as a member of the record-setting 4×200-meter freestyle relay. She later became a seven-time NCAA All-American and co-captain of the University of Georgia’s 2005 National Championship team. Drawing from her own experiences with the pressures of elite sport and the challenges that can exist behind achievement, Samantha founded Livingstone High Performance and the Whole Athlete Initiative (WAI) in 2016. Her work is centered on the belief that developing successful athletes requires supporting the whole person—mind, body, and identity—not simply improving physical performance.

Samantha works with individual athletes, teams, coaches, athletic departments, and organizations to strengthen mental wellbeing while creating environments where athletes can perform at their highest level. Through high-performance consulting, coaching, workshops, leadership and culture development, mental wellness initiatives, and mindful sport-performance training, she helps athletes build skills in areas such as resilience, confidence, emotional regulation, self-awareness, navigating feedback, handling pressure, and developing an identity beyond sport.
