Academic Models
Full Year CATS Model

Full-time CATS enrollment from early September to late May, with all classes, transcripts, and diplomas issued by CATS.

Active participation in NAHA hockey throughout the season, plus on- and off-ice training opportunities year-round.

Comprehensive academic support, with access to both CATS and NAHA academic resources.

Immersive campus experience, living and studying at CATS for the full school year.

Mirrors a Prep School model, but with higher-level hockey development, competition, and exposure.
NAHA 6-Month Model

Follows a traditional sports-season academy model — students start at their home high school, then transfer to NAHA around late September or early October.

Board on campus and take classes at NAHA that match their home school courses, ensuring continuity in academics.

NAHA is a recognized independent high school in Massachusetts, issuing grades, credits, and transcripts (but not diplomas).

After the season ends in March or early April, students return to their home high school to complete the year and can participate in spring sports.

Classes combine CATS-taught subjects with small-group instruction by NAHA teachers, using each student’s home curriculum for alignment.
